T-Mobile guide

T-Mobile promotional credits missing or delayed.

Last reviewed: September 4, 2026

Direct answer: T-Mobile says recurring device credits may take up to two bill cycles to appear and that a missed first credit may be included as a catch-up credit on the next bill.

Recognize recurring device credits

T-Mobile commonly calls monthly promotion amounts Recurring Device Credits, or RDC. A trade-in deal may combine an immediate trade-in amount with monthly credits, so the recurring amount can be lower than the headline promotion divided by the term.

Check the first two cycles together

If the first bill has no credit and the second has two credits, the cumulative amount may be on track. If the second full cycle passes without the expected catch-up amount, the promotion may need review.

Documents to gather

  • Offer details and promotion ID if shown
  • Order and Equipment Installment Plan
  • Trade-in receipt or status
  • First and later bills with RDC descriptions
  • The four-digit line reference for each device

Ask for a promotion review

Ask support to verify qualification, the promotion ID, EIP association, credit amount, start date, and line. If credits stopped, ask what account event removed them and request a written explanation.
