About Phone Deal Audit
Who operates it
Phone Deal Audit is a product of SG Applications, which builds small, focused consumer tools. It is not a carrier, a law firm, or a bill-negotiation service, and it has no relationship with AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. Carrier names on this site identify whose bills and offers the software reads.
Why it exists
Phone promotions are paid as small monthly credits over two or three years, which makes them easy to lose track of and hard to argue about from memory. A credit that starts late, posts to the wrong line, drops a tier, or stops after a plan change can cost hundreds of dollars over a term, and the person noticing it usually has a stack of PDFs and a support chat to work with. Phone Deal Audit turns those documents into an expected-versus-found ledger so the conversation with the carrier can be about specific bills and amounts.
How it works
- Bills, offers, and screenshots are read in your browser. Files, filenames, and extracted text are not uploaded.
- Each document is classified on your device, and every extracted fact is shown for you to confirm, edit, mark unknown, or remove before anything is compared.
- The comparison uses deterministic rules and exact decimal arithmetic. There is no runtime AI model and no scoring of who is at fault.
- The free result names the pattern and the amount in question. A one-time $39 packet is offered only when a plausible discrepancy is found.
What it does not do
- It does not connect to carrier accounts or ask for passwords.
- It does not decide legal entitlement, guarantee any outcome, or state that a carrier owes money.
- It does not file disputes or complaints, or contact carriers on your behalf.
- It does not give legal, tax, or financial advice.
How the carrier-rule content is maintained
Every carrier guide quotes the rule it relies on from the carrier's own support page or customer agreement, links the source, and shows the date it was last checked. The start windows the audit applies come from the same sources. When a carrier changes its terms, the affected guide and its checked date are updated together. If you find a quoted rule that no longer matches the carrier's page, email support@phonedealaudit.com with the page link; do not attach bills or account documents.
