Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you share a single file.

What does Phone Deal Audit check?

It compares confirmed device or trade-in promotion terms with recurring promotional credits shown on later bills, including timing, amount, term, line, catch-up, and stopped-credit patterns.

Which carriers are supported?

AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile consumer postpaid accounts. Prepaid, business wireless, Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Google Fi are not supported.

Do my bills get uploaded?

No. Bills, offers, screenshots, filenames, extracted text, and OCR output stay in your browser and are never uploaded to Phone Deal Audit.

Do I need to give you my carrier password?

No. Phone Deal Audit does not connect to or scrape carrier accounts.

What documents should I use?

The original offer, order confirmation, trade-in receipt or status, relevant emails or screenshots, and one to six carrier bills provide the strongest evidence.

Do I have to label each document?

No. Each file is detected automatically on your device as a bill, promotional offer, order confirmation, trade-in record, carrier email, or screenshot after it is analyzed. You can change any type, and when the tool is not sure it says so instead of guessing.

What is remaining promotional value at risk?

When a discrepancy is found and the promotion term is confirmed, the result also shows the most recent bill's shortfall multiplied by the months left in the term. It describes what may be affected if the issue continues. It is not money owed, a guaranteed loss, or a prediction of recovery.

Can Phone Deal Audit guarantee that my carrier owes me money?

No. It identifies evidence that appears inconsistent and may require carrier review. It does not determine legal entitlement or guarantee reimbursement.

What if my promotional credits have not started yet?

The comparison accounts for each carrier's currently published activation window. A free result may say the credit is not yet due rather than labeling it missing.

What is a catch-up promotional credit?

It is an extra credit that covers one or more earlier billing periods. The audit compares cumulative expected and actual credits so a valid catch-up amount is recognized.

Can it identify a credit on the wrong line?

Yes, when the relevant four-digit line references are available and confirmed.

How much does it cost?

The initial scan is free. If a plausible discrepancy is found, the complete audit and action packet is a one-time $39 purchase. There is no subscription.

What happens if no problem is found?

You receive the free result and are not offered a paid report merely to monetize an on-track audit.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are generally final once the paid report is unlocked because the complete digital product is delivered immediately. Within 7 days of purchase, email billing@phonedealaudit.com about a duplicate charge, a technical problem that prevents delivery or use, or a material failure to function as described. Exceptional refunds may also be issued at our discretion, and your rights under applicable law are not limited. Do not attach carrier documents.

Can I restore a previous purchase?

Yes. Request a restore link using the checkout email. Because documents are never uploaded, you may need to rerun the local scan if the original audit data is no longer on the device.

Does it file an FCC complaint for me?

No. A paid action packet can organize a chronology suitable for copying into a complaint if appropriate, but you decide whether and where to submit it.
