Privacy

Your documents stay on your device.

Direct answer: Phone Deal Audit processes bills, offers, screenshots, and extracted text in your browser. Those documents and their contents are not uploaded to us or sent to an AI provider.

What stays local

  • Raw PDF and image files
  • Extracted document text and OCR output
  • Evidence excerpts
  • Names, account numbers, phone numbers, and line identifiers found in documents
  • The locally generated PDF and CSV report

Local storage

To survive navigation or checkout, the browser may store confirmed audit facts, analysis results, evidence-reference metadata, a session version, and timestamps. Raw files are not persisted. Local audit data expires after 14 days and can be cleared from the audit at any time.

What may leave the browser

Starting checkout sends only an opaque local audit session ID. Stripe processes payment and payer details. A verified purchase may store payment identifiers, a hashed email lookup, entitlement data, and timestamps, including the first time valid paid access is verified. This access timestamp contains no document or report information. Resend processes the destination email and restore message when transactional email is configured.

Analytics

Optional analytics use a closed event schema. Events may include page path, carrier selection, document count and category, OCR-used status, broad result type, purchase, report format, and error codes. They never include document text, names, account numbers, phone numbers, filenames, exact line references, OCR excerpts, or carrier account identifiers.

Third parties

Stripe, Resend, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare have limited roles only when configured. Their own policies apply to the data they process. Phone Deal Audit does not send audit document contents to them.
